Staff Nurse

  • Job Requirement:
    • Recognised Diploma in Nursing, possess APC and Registered with Nursing Board.
    • Minimum 3 years in a related field.
    • Able to start work immediately.
    • Interpersonal and communication skills. Competent in Nursing procedure skills including technical, caring component and documentations.

 

  • Job Description:
    • Registered Nurse uses the Nursing Process to formulate and maintain individualized nursing care plans.
    • Registered Nurse is responsible for patient education.
    • Maintains profession’s ethical and legal framework.
    • Assumes responsibility for self-development and use resources for continued learning such as attending CNE program.
    • Consults with the Team Leader in the absence of Nursing Manager when patient’s problems are not within the scope of practice.

Senior Staff Nurse (Labour & Delivery)

  • Job Description:
    • Responsible for clinical nursing according to requirements of the Nursing System.
    • Responsible to carry out nursing practices according to quality assurance standards.
    • To monitor the progress of labor and monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing during labour and to diagnose the onset of labour.
    • To detect warning signs of abnormality in the mother and baby and make the necessary referral e.g., obstetrician or senior midwifery.
    • To manage high risk labors in partnership with obstetric and anesthetic colleagues.
    • Manage emergencies such as maternal and neonatal resuscitation, ante and post-partum hemorrhages, shoulder dystocia, fetal malpresentation.
  • Job Requirement:
    • Recognized Diploma in Nursing, possess APC and Registered with Nursing Board; Midwifery post basic; Special Care Nurse (neonate) – advantage; BLS & Neonatal resuscitation holder (advantage).
    • Minimum 3 years in a related field
    • Interpersonal and communication skills. Competent in Nursing procedure skills including technical, caring component and documentations.
    • Bahasa Malaysia and English.

 

Ultrasonographer

  • Responsibilities:-
    • Keeping records of all examinations of patient’s particular in a log book.
    • Reporting all incidences encountered within the department pertaining to x-ray equipment/processing failures, M&E problems related to x-ray and patient’s complaints/suggestions in a log book.
    • Filing of all incoming and outgoing correspondences.
    • Performing radiological examinations as requested by Medical Officers or Medical Consultants.
    • To perform variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgement with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.
    • To produce radiograph of highest quality/standard and of good diagnostic value at minimal cost.
    • Adhere strictly to rules and regulations on radiation protection to patients, staff and general public.
    • Maintain proper care of the x-ray equipment and related accessories for cost effectiveness.
    • Responsible towards the safety and proper care of patients while undergoing radiological examination.
    • Maintain the room with adequate supplies and room temperature/relative humidity be ambient-air cond @ 23 degrees.
    • To perform scans as planned from the desired or specific body region protocol.
    • To perform calibration tests on equipment 2 times daily i.e. first in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
    • To inspect daily the laser printer for smooth running function.
    • Supervision of all examinations as they are being performed by a female radiographer – for optimum image quality.
    • Perform daily warm-up of equipment.
    • To indent all consumables, i.e. x-ray contrast media, x-ray films and processing chemicals for x-ray films once their respective quantity has reached a minimum amount.
    • Keeping records of all designated personnel monthly.
    • Organize and perform ultrasonography examinations, document high quality images and practice good patient care
    • Works with radiologists in special procedures in ultrasound
    • Analyze technical information.
    • Use independent judgment in recognizing the need to extend the scope of a procedure according to diagnostic findings.
    • Alert and aware on any breakdown of ultrasound machines and inform superior.
  • Requirement:-
    • Bachelor's degree in diagnostic imaging and related field;
    • At least 2 to 3 years’ experience.

 

Clinic Aide

  • Job Description:
    • Responsible to carry out bedside nursing practices according to quality assurance standards.
    • Responsible in assisting doctors, staff nurses and assistant nurses during examination and patient care.

  • Job Requirement:
    • Candidate must posses at least PMR/SPM.

Clinic Attendant (2 vacancy)

  • Job Description:
    • A patient care attendant helps patients with basic grooming and dressing needs, administers medication, and, when working in a patient's home, often attends to basic housekeeping duties which the patient cannot get to.
    • Throughout these routine tasks, a patient care attendant keeps the patient company, keeping an eye out for any changes in the patient's physical, emotional, or mental condition.
  • Job Requirement:
    • Patient care attendants should be compassionate, responsible, and comfortable working with people with various health issues and disabilities.
    • Requirement SRP or SPM.
    • A physical examination, health tests for tuberculosis and other diseases.
    • Education for this position usually comes from on-the-job training with supervisors, experienced patient care attendants, and registered nurses.
    • Workers receive training in housekeeping duties, emergency response procedures, safety techniques, and special patient care considerations.
    • The exact length of the training varies based on the employer; an evaluation may be completed at the end of the training to ensure that the individual can properly perform the necessary work duties.

    • Fully registered with Malaysian Medical Council.

 Pharmacy Assistant

  • Job Description:
    • To carry out pharmacy duties (total pharmacy management) in the pharmacy which includes inventory control, dispensing to outpatient and inpatients, patient counseling, chemotherapeutic reconstitution and other related tasks.
  • Job Requirement
    • Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent.

Consultant Urologists

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • To provide Urology specialist consultancy and other related clinical service to urology patients of Nilai Medical Centre
    • To participate in CME sessions with the resident doctors and consultants.
    • To participate in all relevant marketing activities organized by the hospital.
    • To accept appointment as head of clinical departments when required by the hospital.
    • To observe all rules set by the hospital and abide by all good clinical practices as laid out by the recognized bodies.
    • To keep strictly to the requirements of the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Regulations 2006.
    • Provide urology consultation to physicians or other health care professionals such as advise medical personnel regarding healthcare issues.
    • Treat urologic disorders using alternatives to traditional surgery such as extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, laparoscopy and laser techniques.
    • Direct the work of nurses, residents or other staff to provide patient care such as supervise patient care personnel. 

Consultant Ophthalmologists

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • To provide ophthalmology specialist consultancy and other related clinical service to ophthalmology patients of Nilai Medical Centre
    • To participate in CME sessions with the resident doctors and consultants.
    • To participate in all relevant marketing activities organized by the hospital.
    • To accept appointment as head of clinical departments when required by the hospital.
    • To observe all rules set by the hospital and abide by all good clinical practices as laid out by the recognized bodies.
    • To keep strictly to the requirements of the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Regulations 2006.
    • Carrying  out surgical procedures using an operating microscope, small incision (keyhole) surgery, laser surgery, etc.;
    • Working well as part of a multi-disciplinary that includes optometrists, orthoptists and nurses;
    • Handling legal documentation for the certification of patients as blind partially sighted.
    • Operating equipment such as ophthalmoscopes, slit lamps, Auto Kerato- refractometer, Computerized vision tester, Optical Coherence Tomography and Auto Chart Projector.
    • Management of ophthalmic conditions, taking into account both medical and psychological aspects of patient care.


Consultant Dermatologist

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • To provide Dermatology specialist consultancy and other related clinical service for patients in Nilai Medical Centre
    • To participate in CME sessions with the resident doctors and consultants.
    • To participate in all relevant marketing activities organized by the hospital.
    • To accept appointment as head of clinical departments when required by the hospital.
    • To observe all rules set by the hospital and abide by all good clinical practices as laid out by the recognized bodies.

    • Provide dermatology consultation to physicians or other health care professionals such as advise medical personnel regarding healthcare issues.

Consultant Orthopedic

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • To perform operations related to orthopaedic like bones, joints, spine, backs and sports injuries.
    • To restore functions through surgery, due to disease and injury, to the ligaments, tendons, joints, bones, nerves and muscles but also use physical, medical and rehabilitative methods when necessary.
    • To perform arthroplasty on shoulder fractures that are often sports-related or found on patients suffering from osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, which replace the ball socket joint.
    • To accept patient referrals from other physicians, reviewing records and planning treatment options.
    • Meeting with patients to proceed with specialized testing or further examination of the physical condition that lead to the referral.
    • Examining patients including physical examinations, ordering x-rays, MRI’s or other testing sources.
    • Book surgery rooms and notify support staff of surgery times. Ensure all supporting personnel are notified and prepared for the surgery or procedure.
    • Planning specialized after surgery care, coordinate follow up medical support and meet with patients after surgery to answer questions and monitor  recovery.
    • Managing record keeping, patient charts and all required surgical and hospital records as needed.
    • To provide 24 hours call services and attend to emergencies as and when required.
    • Participate in CME sessions with resident doctors and consultants.
    • Keep strictly to the requirements of the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Regulations 2006
    • To be a member of the Infectious Control committee.
    • To be the Head of Rehabilitation service and assist the management to provide guidance in drafting standard Operating Procedures (SOP) of the unit.
    • To arrange for locum orthopaedic service when on leave in order to ensure the uninterrupted orthopaedic service of Nilai Medical Centre.
    • To organise Continuous Medical Education (CME) for the hospital as well as operation theatre (OT) staffs.
    • Involve in orthopaedic facility and equipment planning by submitting purchase order with detail justification in order to enable the hospital to meet the demand of orthopaedic patient.
    • Comply with Nilai Medical Centre OT SOP at all times. 

General Surgeon

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • Provide surgical care in the field of general surgery, colorectal surgery, breast surgery, minimally invasive surgery and any other clinical services as required by the Hospital.
    • Provide surgical care in the field of endoscopic services, that is, both upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.
    • Provide general medical care** to patients.
    • Accept patient referrals from other physicians, review records and plan treatment options. Examine patients including physical examinations, ordering x-rays, MRI’s or other testing sources. Meet with patients to proceed with specialized testing or further examination of the physical condition that lead to the referral.
    • Provide 24-hour on-call services and attend to emergencies as and when required. Arrange for locum general surgeon when on leave in order to ensure the uninterrupted general surgery service at Nilai Medical Centre.
    • Book surgery rooms and notify support staff of surgery times. Ensure all supporting personnel are notified and prepared for the surgery or procedure.
    • Plan specialized after surgery care, coordinate follow up medical support and meet with patients after surgery to answer questions and monitor recovery.
    • Manage record keeping, patient charts and all required surgical and hospital records as needed.
    • Involve in general surgery facility and equipment planning.
    • Participate in CME sessions with resident doctors and consultants.
    • Provide clinical leadership to Hospital Committee(s), if appointed.
    • Participate in marketing activities both overseas and local as and when requested/organized by the management and/or the marketing team.
    • Comply with policies, rules and regulations set by Nilai Medical Centre at all times.
    • Keep strictly to the requirements of the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Regulations 2006 and other relevant laws and regulations.
    • Perform only clinical and medical procedures/treatment duly privileged according to the Consultant’s qualification and experiences.
    • Ensure patients receive safe and quality care at Nilai Medical Centre.

**General medical care includes the following but not limited to history taking, physical examination, evaluation, assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients. Patients may be in the acute medical wards, cardiac care units and ICU and to review complicated medical cases in out-patient medical clinics. Prescribe pharmaceuticals and other medications and treatment regimens as appropriate. 
 

Consultant Paediatrician

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • To provide paediatrician specialist consultancy and other related clinical service to paediatrician patients of Nilai Medical Centre.
    • To provide 24 hours call services and attend to emergencies as and when required.
    • To participate in CME sessions with the resident doctors and consultants.
    • To participate in all relevant marketing activities organized by the hospital.
    • To actively participate in all accreditation programs of the hospital and serve in the Hospital Committees (for instance, OT committee and Infection Control committee) as and when appointed.
    • To accept appointment as head of clinical departments when required by the hospital.

Consultant Neurologist
